In great weather with blue sky and 23 degrees Celsius, the MAXX Formula cars started their 2nd free practice on the Autodrom Most in the Czech Republic in the shadow of the castle.

In the 2nd free practice the conditions for the drivers and teams were optimal. The drivers gave their best and the times from the 1st free practice were improved.

Right after the start of the free practice the session was stopped. Veronika Jaksch / CZE was forced to retire due to technical problems with her Dallara GP2 (Team H&A Racing)

was pulled into the pit by the excellent track protection, but was later able to resume training.

Wolfgang Jordan with his GP 2 from the H&A Racing team also complained about technical problems, but was able to drive into the pit under his own power.

Alessandro Bracalente / Italy with his Dallara GP 2 from Team Speedcenter was the fastest overall in the 2nd free practice session, with a great time of 1.23.833.

Father and son Grosse-Aschhoff with their Reynard 95 D F-3000 cars were very well on the road today in the Masters class. The father, Michael Grosse-Aschhoff / Germany, had the nose in front with a time of 1.30.011. Son Felix Grosse-Aschhoff / Germany was close behind his father with a time of 1.30.219.

Karl-Heinz Becker / Germany did not do well in the Masters class today.

In an interview Karl-Heinz Becker stated that the car was good and the mechanics had worked well.

But he was not satisfied with his own performance.
